Get ready to challenge yourself and experience the rewarding feeling of reaching the summit of Yonah Mountain!
We are heading out on the last Saturday of the month for a demanding but spectacular hike. This out-and-back trail covers approximately 4.4 miles and offers some of the most stunning panoramic views in North Georgia.
About the Hike:
• Difficulty: Moderately Difficult to Strenuous. Be prepared for a sustained, consistent incline, gaining over 1,400 feet. It is a demanding hike that requires good stamina.
• Terrain: Expect steep, rocky sections and some rocky scrambling, adding to the adventurous nature of the ascent. The trail is known for its challenging state, being used by the U.S. Army Ranger School for training!
